Switching to a simple olive oil body wash is one of the easiest changes you can make.

What is olive oil body wash?

Olive oil body wash is a liquid soap made from olive oil rather than synthetic detergents. The oil is turned into a gentle, natural soap, then combined with water and vegetable glycerine to make a wash that lathers softly and rinses clean.

Ours has a short ingredient list: potassium, water, olive oil from our family grove at Myponga Beach, and vegetable glycerine. Our scented washes add a few pure essential oils. That's it.

How to use it

• Squeeze a small amount into your hand, onto a washcloth or onto a natural sponge.
• Massage over damp skin to build a soft lather.
• Rinse well with warm, not hot, water. Hot water dries skin out faster.
• Pat dry and moisturise while your skin is still slightly damp.

Don't expect mountains of foam. Natural olive oil soap makes a softer lather than detergent-based washes, and a little goes a long way.
